This certification recognizes SIRTMAX® as a functional ingredient for health functional foods that promotes body fat reduction.”

 

To expand the market for SIRTMAX® globally, TOKIWA has collaborated with a South Korean company to secure a MFDS certification that highlights SIRTMAX® effectiveness in reducing body fat. A recent study published in the academic journal “The Lancet” revealed that the global obese population has exceeded one billion, implying that one out of eight people worldwide is obese. With this certification, we foresee increased sales of SIRTMAX® in South Korea and contribute to reducing the obese population.

 

SIRTMAX® is a Black Turmeric Extract developed and sold by TOKIWA since 2013. It is distinguished by its superior SIRT11 activation properties, proven to be over five times more effective than resveratrol in in vitro studies2. Additionally, human clinical trials have demonstrated for the first time that SIRTMAX® intake increases SIRT1 mRNA expression3. Other proven health benefits include improvement of blood glucose level and skin quality.
